OUR STORY
LifeAbility was founded by an occupational therapist with over 20 years of experience across hospital, rehabilitation, and home settings, including 5 years of accessible home modification design. Through this work, one gap became clear: safe, functional home environments were not always prioritized during discharge, and solutions were often designed around the space rather than the person.
This disconnect made it harder for individuals to live safely and confidently at home as their needs changed. Contractors and families were often left to make important decisions without the clinical insight needed to fully support function and long-term independence.
LifeAbility was created to unite healthcare and home modification through collaboration—bringing therapists, contractors, and families together to deliver clear, buildable solutions that support safety, function, and the ability to stay at home longer.
